constoriumThe Consortium of Louisville Independent Counselors (CLICC) provides additional layers of college counseling support to students working with any consortium professional, all of whom are members in good standing of the Independent Educational Consultants Association (IECA), the National Association for College Admission Counseling (NACAC), the Southern Association for College Admission Counseling (SACAC), and/or the Kentucky Association for College Admission Counselors (KYACAC).

Consortium members share office space, resources, data, and professional development experiences in order to assist students in crafting the strongest possible applications for college admission and merit scholarships.

High school students contract independently with the consortium member who best fits the student’s unique personality, interests, and needs but receive the support of all consortium members.

Each student’s college list, Common Application, and personal statement is reviewed at regularly scheduled consortium committee meetings. All consortium members provide feedback on the application via the student’s independent counselor, thereby strengthening the application and simulating a college admission office review.
