“Our family has been fortunate to work with Scott in the college search process for two of our three children. Most impressive was his involvement with both the students and parents beginning in their freshman year. Scott understands that finding the right fit for a student doesn’t happen by chance or with last minute applications. Each year we would be given a list of goals and reading material so that we would stay on task throughout this process. Scott would meet periodically with the students, also scheduling appointments with the parents so we were always in the loop. Because Scott spent the time to get to know our children, academically and personally, I know that his recommendations were based on this knowledge…not just handing us a list of good schools or his personal favorites. He also was realistic with our expectations, not promising us the moon because that’s what we wanted to hear. Both of our children were able to attend “reach” schools, Middlebury College and New York University, because they each had a special skill the schools were interested in. Scott’s assistance in putting together all the pieces was very important in making this happen, not once, but twice.”
