“What a joy it was to work with Molly when my son was applying to colleges. On Molly’s advice, several years prior to beginning the application process, I had begun taking my sons to visit college campuses. By the time we began the application process, we must have visited fifteen or more colleges. Molly had encouraged us to make the college search process fun. Rather than do a whirlwind tour of 8 or 10 campuses over the course of several days, she suggested that we visit colleges while vacationing and/or visiting friends. When we visited Haverford College, I knew my son had found the right fit for him. Molly, however, reminded me that I wasn’t the one going to college, although my wife and I would be paying for it. Molly’s wisdom prevailed, and we stepped back and let my son come to his own conclusion. Ultimately, he applied early decision to Haverford. My son has thrived socially and academically at Haverford. Although many factors went into my son finding such a good “fit” for college, we attribute much of the outcome to Molly’s wise shepherding of us through the search process.“
